These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by B.I.G Recovery & Transport Ltd, operating as a vehicle recovery and transport company based in Boston, Lincolnshire/UK. By booking or requesting a service — whether by phone, online form, or any other means — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms in full.

1 Definitions

"Company" refers to B.I.G Recovery & Transport Ltd. "Client" refers to the person or organisation requesting the service. "Service" refers to any vehicle recovery, transport, towing, or roadside assistance carried out by the Company. "Dispatch" means the moment a Company vehicle or operator is assigned and begins travelling toward the agreed collection point.

2 Callout & Travel Charges

The Client is liable for all costs associated with the Company vehicle travelling to the agreed collection location, regardless of whether the service is ultimately completed.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Travel charges apply from the moment of Dispatch and are non-refundable under all circumstances.

3 Cancellation After Dispatch

If the Client cancels or withdraws from the service after Dispatch, the full callout fee and all travel costs incurred up to the point of cancellation remain due and payable immediately.

No refund or waiver will be issued on the basis that the recovery vehicle had not yet arrived at the collection point at the time of cancellation. The act of Dispatch constitutes the commencement of the billable service.

Changing your mind after the truck is on its way does not remove your obligation to pay.

4 Accuracy of Information

The Client must provide accurate and complete information at the time of booking, including:

If the Client provides false, incomplete, or misleading information — whether intentionally or otherwise — the Company reserves the right to charge the full agreed service fee plus any additional costs arising from the inaccuracy (additional equipment, extended journey, re-routing, etc.).

Providing false information does not release the Client from payment. Any extra costs caused by inaccurate information will be added to the invoice.

5 Vehicle Condition & Special Requirements

The Client must disclose any known issues with the vehicle that may affect loading, transport, or recovery — including but not limited to: no brakes, no steering, seized wheels, structural damage, or fire or flood damage. Failure to disclose such conditions may result in additional charges and the Company accepts no liability for damage arising from undisclosed vehicle defects.

Vehicles with modifications, oversize dimensions, or unusual weight must be declared at the time of booking. The Company reserves the right to decline the job or apply a surcharge if the actual vehicle does not match the information provided.

6 Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing in advance. The Company accepts payment by cash, bank transfer, or card. In the event of non-payment, the Company reserves the right to retain the vehicle until the outstanding balance is settled, and to pursue recovery through legal means.

Quoted prices are estimates based on information provided at the time of booking. The final invoice may differ if the actual circumstances differ materially from what was described.

7 Liability

The Company carries all insurance required by law for operators of recovery and transport vehicles. The Company takes reasonable care in handling all vehicles. However, the Company is not liable for:

Any damage claims must be raised in writing within 24 hours of service completion. Claims submitted after this window will not be accepted.

8 Right to Refuse Service

The Company reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if the scene is deemed unsafe, if the Client is abusive or threatening toward staff, or if the actual job differs significantly from what was described at the time of booking. In such cases, travel costs already incurred remain payable.

9 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
